Q. What are your class sizes?
A. Never more than 12 children in each class.

Q. What is your student-teacher ratio?
A. A minimum of 1 teacher for every 6 children.

Q. Are all of your teachers certified?
A. Yes, all of our teachers are certified and most have degrees specifically in childhood education or significant work experience in childhood education.

Q. What is the breakdown of classrooms in the school?
A. On a given day we have three classrooms of am threes and fours, one classroom of fives, and one classroom of kindergarten. In the afternoon we have one class of twos and one class of pm threes and fours.

Q. Do you have behavioral specialists on site?
A. Yes, we have a Speech Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist with offices in our school. Please contact us if you would like more information about their services.

Q. Do you have a policy for children with food and other allergies?
A. While we are not a peanut free school, we take great effort to accomodate children with allergies.

Q. When do you take registration for enrollment?
A. 3,4 enrolls students on an ongoing basis, but it is recommended you inquire one year in advance of when you want your child to enter our school.

Q. Do you require a deposit to book a spot in the school for a child?
A. Yes, we require a non-refundable deposit of two months' tuition when a contract is signed. That leaves a balance of eight months' worth of tuition to be paid in monthly increments from October through May.

Q. Do you accept credit cards as a form of payment?
A. Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard & Discover credit cards.

Q. Is the school play based or curriculum based?
A. All of the programs for respective age groups are comprised of curriculum tailored to their developmental needs to ensure an enriching experience. Please see the web page associated with each program we offer for specific information on curriculum and daily activities.

Q. Are meals or snacks provided by the school?
A. Children are required to have their meals and snacks provided by their parent or guardian. We do have a pizza day every Thursday in which we have pizza delivered for all children who have previously signed up for it.

Q. Do you take field trips or activities off premises?
A. Yes, we have field trips on average once a month, and additionally we have seasonal shows in which the children perform songs in front of parents and friends. Parents are encouraged to attend field trips and shows.

Q. Are you closed on holidays and public school vacations?
A. We follow the Westport Public Schools calendar for all holidays and Vacations.

Q. What about school closings or delays due to snow or weather related issues?
A. We follow the determination of Westport Public Schools on weather related issues.

Q. Do you have to attend 3,4 during the school year in order to attend the summer programs?
A. No, Summer Programs are open to anyone.
